Urban Transport Profiles 2024

To provide insights into transport in individual cities (or functional urban areas) within the ATO region, these urban transport profiles had been developed by the ATO. These profiles offer concise but impactful snapshots of the state and trends of urban transport, as well as the transport policies and measures that are being undertaken at the urban level.  These profiles encompass distilled information based on city-specific documents and policies, as well as data based on reputable secondary sources. As a first step, we have developed 40 urban sector profiles.

Urban Transport State of Play Presentations

The ATO team is developing from time to time urban center focused State of Play presentations. These give an overview of the transport sector in the concerned urban center by presenting historic trends as well as outlooks in some cases for key topics covered by the ATO such as transport infrastructure, activity and services, access and connectivity, road safety, climate change, air pollution and economic impact of the transport sector. Apart from data the State of Play presentations also give an overview of existing policies, relevant targets and policy instruments.
