If we juxtapose the progress towards towards decarbonisation of the transport sector against the progress towards other important goals such as the reduction in transport air pollution loading and road safety fatalities, we see that there is progress being made towards achieving the latter goals, but the region is regressing in relation to the decarbonisation of the transport sector.
