State of Play of Transport Targets in Nationally Determined Contributions and Beyond in Asia and the Pacific - Policy Brief
We're excited to share the release of a new policy brief titled "State of Play Transport Targets in NDCs and Beyond in Asia and the Pacific."
This document assesses transport targets and measures within the NDCs and national transport policies across ESCAP member States. Developed following the Regional Cooperation Mechanism on Low Carbon Transport: Establishment and Implementation of Low Carbon Transport Targets and Timelines in Asia and the Pacific regional meeting, the policy brief is a collaborative effort by ESCAP, the SLOCAT Partnership, the Asian Development Bank, and the Asian Transport Outlook (ATO).
The brief sheds light on the steps forward for the transport sector in the lead-up to NDC 3.0, offering 10 recommendations to support Asia and the Pacific's transition toward low-carbon transport.
