ATO National Database November 2024 Update
ATO's national database is one of the key pillars enabling the generation of novel insights on the progression and evolution of transport systems in the Asian region. We are happy to announce the release of the third update to the ATO national database since the commencement of the current (3rd) Phase of the ATO from March 2023.
The set of updates to the ATO national database refreshes 80 existing indicators and adds two new indicators/sources. Key updates include data from the release of Global Status Report on Road Safety 2023, transport air pollution figures introducing data up to 2022 and transport CO2 emissions expanding the data up to 2023 from EDGAR, revised definitions and 2023 updates for trade indicators, and latest data available from UN Energy Statistics for years 2021 and 2022. Additionally, a new indicator tracks used passenger car imports from International Transport Forum (ITF), and a new source provides data on excess deaths linked to ambient PM 2.5 exposure.
