ATO Showcases Data-Driven Insights to Support Transport Planning in the Pacific Region
The Asian Transport Observatory (ATO) contributed to the Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility (PRIF) Transport Working Group meeting held on 24 March 2026. The session introduced ATO’s regional data platform, highlighting its role in strengthening evidence-based transport planning across Asia and the Pacific. By showcasing its multidimensional datasets—covering access and connectivity, infrastructure, emissions, and policy tracking—the ATO demonstrated how harmonized data can support better alignment between policy priorities, investment pipelines, and development outcomes. The ATO also showcased the Pacific Platform, which will be launched soon, as part of the main ATO portal.
